Marianne Howard is an artist who finds inspiration for her work through the pursuit of her passions, including the institutional investment business, food, wine, and global travel. Extensive travel throughout the United States, Europe, South America, Asia, Africa, and Australia, has allowed Marianne to explore the power and cultural transcendence of visual images. Among her journeys, a month long trip to Myanmar in 2001 led to her 2003 exhibit, “Focus on Burma (Myanmar): Photographer’s Treasures from the Collection of Marianne Howard”, featured at The Trammell and Margaret Crow Collection of Asian Art in Dallas, Texas.
Marianne studied drawing, painting, printmaking and photography at Wittenberg University, Springfield, OH, and The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Chicago, IL. Her work has been exhibited and published nationally and is held in private collections internationally. Additionally, she holds certificates from The Court of Master Sommeliers and The International Sommelier Guild and is also a certified wine educator by The Wine Academy of Spain. An active community supporter, Marianne is a frequent conference panelist and guest speaker.
I purchased this work, I encourage everyone to bring alittle Global Spring into their lives. You will have a wonderful reminder daily of the good work being done by CARES and how wonderful that Marianne is helping this organization with it’s mission.
Thank you, Lynne, for adding Global Spring to your collection and for supporting the great work of CARES Foundation. So glad you are enjoying the piece. Please keep spreading the good word so we can reach our goal of a $100,000.00 donation.
Best,
Marianne
